4 twin beds for boys ... ages 11, 9, 7 and 5... on March 8 near Magnolia, TX and 2 and 4 year old girls in Willis on June 9 as a part of our "A Bed for Every Child" initiative. Of course, a My Stuff Bag accompanied each bed. We hope the children sleep well in their new beds. A huge thanks to our child safety partners: Junior League of The Woodlands, Entergy, My Stuff Bags Foundation and Willis Discount Furniture!
Sojourn Academy in Oak Ridge North
Recently, a class of kindergarten students at the Sojourn Academy in Oak Ridge North each donated a book and a pair of pajamas to the Rainbow Room. Dolfia Hearn, Vice Chairperson, CPMC, met with the students on Valentines Day to personally thank them and present each student with a Valentine bag of candy along with a special thank you note. We love it when kids help our CPS kids!!
A huge thank you to the Conroe Service League for their generous donation to the Rainbow Room on April 6, 2018.

First United Methodist Church in Conroe
This is a stack of 22 handmade cloth drawstring bags which the caseworkers use to hold items from the Rainbow Room for children under their care. These drawstring bags are made by ladies from the First United Methodist Church in Conroe. They made about 100 bags last year and have made about 35 so far this year. The caseworkers love the bags and requested more when the supply ran out. Janet Cable, our contact at First United Methodist Church, tells us that the ladies love making the bags for these kids!
