Initiatives
We maintain a room at the CPS offices in Conroe, TX stocked with new items for use by the CPS caseworkers in support of the children they serve. Included are clothing, baby food, baby formula, diapers, hygiene items, snacks, child safety items, etc.
Preventing child abuse/neglect is a high priority for CPMC. We work closely with the CPS staff to find ways to support these efforts.
Many infants die each year from suffocation while sleeping with a parent or older sibling. We strive to provide a bed for every child in need of one.
We recognize an outstanding CPS staff member each year during the Terry Lee Memorial Birthday Celebration. At the same time we honor Terry Lee who was an outstanding caseworker and supervisor and a role model to all who knew her.
